1. Science/Math educator
Overview
The primary responsibility will be to design and facilitate sessions for mathematics and/or science subjects for students and teachers.
Role Description
Designing and implementing pedagogically sound content using the insights from research on the science of learning.
Ensure smooth implementation of the S2S program
Build and manage relationship with school teachers, principals and managements
Taking initiatives in leading new projects of mutual interests and helping in making existing projects better.
Required skills and Experience:
Science, engineering and/or education expertise
Fluency in spoken and written English
Good communication skills
Passion towards teaching and facilitating the learning
Flexible, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and an energetic team player
Willingness to travel
1-2 years of work experience in school education and/or have given a serious thought on the purpose of education.

2. Android & Web App Developer and Facilitator
Job Brief:
Build an android & web app from scratch for various operational functions and utilities of the team.
Responsibilities:
Technical responsibilities:
Discuss with various stakeholders to gather requirements and constraints
Help S2S team with a strategy for growth of the S2S via app and web
Design Wireframes and UI.
Identify the latest and best tech & libraries based on the requirements and features required
Build prototype and unit test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability
Deploy and fix any performance issues, bugs
Document code consistently throughout the development process by listing a description of the program, special instructions, and any changes made in the database.
Integrating backends of Android and Web
Collaborate to define, design and ship new features
Redesign and revamp website with features like social media integrations, blog etc.
Take proactive roles in different aspects of startup
Flexible, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and an energetic team player
Academic responsibilities:
Facilitate student session in any of your subject of interest
Conduct teachers meeting about the subject and pedagogy
Experience:
Proven software development experience and Android skills development
Have published at least one original Android app
Experience working with Backend stack, Android SDK
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
Good to have:
Solid understanding and experience in HTML5, CSS3, JS libraries & frameworks
Solid understanding of fundamentals and ability to design and teach school curriculum for computational thinking, programming, data structures, algorithms
Ability to design and teach school curriculum for science/math/social science
Willingness to travel
Nature of Engagement: Full time
