Overview

The primary responsibility will be to design and facilitate sessions for mathematics and/or science subjects for students and teachers.


Role Description

  • Designing and implementing pedagogically sound content using the insights from research on the science of learning.
  • Ensure smooth implementation of the S2S program
  • Build and manage relationship with school teachers, principals and managements
  • Taking initiatives in leading new projects of mutual interests and helping in making existing projects better.

    • Required skills and Experience:

    2. Tinkering lab facilitator

As a facilitator, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring projects within the space, as well as setting up, designing, and managing the space in one of our partner schools.     Job Description:

  • Setting up an innovation/tinkering lab in the schools.
  • Managing the innovation space.
  • Planning, facilitating student and teacher sessions on creativity, innovations, prototyping, electronics and mechanical projects, etc.
  • Guiding students for their own research/innovation projects and also planning for cultivating the habit of innovation in school.
    • Qualifications:

    5. Web and Mobile App Developer


    Job Brief:

    Developing web and mobile applications by coordinating with the team and lead developer to build the necessary features. The app will serve as a LMS and as an interface of communication between the S2S team and its users. This will have features like registration & login, sharing files, forms, chat/discussion forum, notifications, task manager/reminders, access multimedia and short courses etc.


    Technical responsibilities:

    • Develop plugins for customization of our LMS such as Themes, Pages, Resources, Activities, Navigation, etc.
    • Customising our LMS using Ionic for Android and IOS
    • Integrate Notification Server
    • Upgrading existing plugins to latest version
    • Identify the latest and best tech & libraries based on the requirements and features required
    • Build prototype and unit test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability
    • Deploy and fix any performance issues, bugs
    • Document code consistently throughout the development process by listing a description of the program, special instructions,
      and any changes made in the database.
    • Integrating backends of Mobile and Web Applications
    • Collaborate to define, design and ship new features
    • Redesign and revamp websites with features like social media integrations, blog etc.
    • Contribute in development of other software solutions needed by the organization

    Responsibility related to growth of web app and S2S:

    • Self motivated to take up technical challenges

    Requirements:

    • 1-2 years of experience in Web and Mobile App development

    • Experience in Mobile App development using Ionic framework(Angular and Cordova), Android SDK and Android Studio Tools
    • Ability to quickly learn and apply from software documentations and other sources available online
    • Good understanding of software engineering practices and design patterns
